Hire-Process | T&Cs

To rent a gown from Dresshouse Formal Hire follow these steps.

1. Locate Your Dress

Visit one of our locations to view our exquisite gowns. Consider it just like any other shopping experience. By appointment, our boutiques are open six days a week. Before you decide, try the gowns on, touch them, and see them.

Alternatively, you can browse our collection on our website, Instagram, or Facebook, Tik Tok then contact any of our boutiques by phone or email for styling advice if you are not near or cannot find one of our four social media locations. There are viewing times. You can order by phone if you prefer.

 2. Reserve Your Dress

To guarantee that your dress is reserved for you, our assistants will complete the transaction after you have selected it. The cost of cleaning the gown after wearing it is included in the hire fee, which is due at the time of order.

3. Pick Up Your Dress

If the hire takes place instore the $100 bond must be paid in order to secure your booking. The full cost of the hire must be be paid on pickup. Pick up of your gown will take place 2-3 days before event.

For online hire, $100 bond must be transferred to our payed in order to secure the booking. The transfer of the bond must be made prior to shipping or picking up from our store. Once the gown has been returned to us and the gown inspected, you will need to SMS your banking details to receive your bond.

4. Return Your Dress

It's easy to return your dress after your event. Bring it into the store, or if needed, we can set up a pre-paid envelope for you to mail it to us from the post office in your area of Australia. We

HIRE CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES

* If you cancel your hire, your $100 bond is non-refundable.
* Any money paid towards your dress hire will be issued as a credit note valid for 2 years.
* Hire bookings may be changed a maximum of three (3) times, subject to availability.
* If you cancel less than 7 days before your event, no credit note will be issued.
* Once you have collected your dress from our store, no refunds, credit notes, or exchanges will be offered if you choose to cancel.

WEBSITE BOOKINGS

Any hire bookings cancelled after being placed through our website are non-refundable. Any money paid will be issued as a credit note valid for 2 years.

RETURNS

All garments hired over a weekend period (Friday–Sunday) must be returned in-store by 4:00pm Monday.

The shop opens at 10:00am every Monday.

A late fee of $20 per day will apply to garments not returned within 24 hours of the nominated return date.

The return date for your dress can also be found on your invoice.
